Clinical Experience and Training

Dr. Al-Falahe began his medical career after graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery, initially working in family medicine. His passion for understanding the human brain led him to Sweden, where he earned his PhD with a thesis on Brain Perception during Learning. He specialized in Psychiatry at Huddinge Hospital, a part of the Nobel Institute.

Since 1999, Dr. Al-Falahe has held several prestigious positions, including Consultant at a world-leading center for Bipolar Affective Disorders in Stockholm, Honorary Consultant at the Department of Psychiatry at Oxford University, and lead consultant for a multidisciplinary team at St George’s University Hospital, London.

Research Interests

Dr. Al-Falahe’s research primarily explores the impact of stress on well-being, focusing on how it contributes to anxiety, panic attacks, depression, and manic episodes. His holistic approach effectively addresses psychosomatic conditions, with specialties in anger management, and the treatment of memory impairment and concentration difficulties.
